Executive Profile: Mike Sharma (Founder)
With over 25 years experience in the ad industry, and more than 20 in digital marketing, Mike’s career path can only be described as diverse. Starting his career in creative & production, Mike has been an award-winning Creative Director at one of Canada’s leading interactive agencies, Senor Director & SVP Sales roles at Microsoft’s online division, and held senior executive roles within divisions of three agency holding companies.
While gaining this diverse experience in the myriad of agency functions, a few things remained consistent: a focus using data and insights to inform business strategy, a passion for using technology and new methods to drive marketing innovation, and an unwavering commitment to accountability and results.
After many years of building and growing successful agencies for holding companies, Mike set out to build society, etc. as an independent agency focused on delivering meaningful solutions to clients with a focus on media and marketing attribution.
Mike is a public speaker on marketing innovation, has been an instructor and council member with industry associations and guest lecturer to several universities and colleges. When not hunched over a screen, Mike can be usually be found on some body of water, fishing.
